The June Jordan School for Equity Farm is Urban Sprouts’ flagship site, operating now for over 12 years, and where our educational model was developed.

At ¾ of an acre, this diversified urban farm has over an orchard of over 40 fruit trees and berries, honey bees, chickens, guinea pigs, native plants and pollinator gardens, medicinal and culinary herb gardens, a greenhouse, and mixed in-ground, container vegetable beds.

The Parklab Community Garden is a partnership between Mission Bay Development Group and Urban Sprouts that provides a dynamic urban green space dedicated to increasing the health and wellness of the Mission Bay community.

Urban Sprouts was hired in 2014 by Mercy Housing to bring our garden-based, food and environmental justice programming to the Sunnydale Community. The Sunnydale Community Gardens Project was formed to: increase the urban green space within the community, increase local food production, and support and grow the network of backyard gardeners.
